House and Senate Republicans unveiled a bold new plan to convince voters to elect them in the midterms. The document uncovered by the well-respected Bezos Post News unveils a blank piece of paper that says…nothing.

Literally. Nothing.

Aides to Senate minority leader McConnell called it a “brilliant policy initiative” that allows Republicans candidates to run on nothing to persuade voters to elect them so they can break government and create chaos for their own political benefit. The policy initiative comes after the head of the Republican National Committee and snake oil salesman Senator Rick Scott of Florida proposed a plan that would raise taxes on the middle class. After blowback the proposed tax hard working class America provision was dropped.

Later that month after blowback the leadership had an easy solution. “Run on an empty sheet of paper from now til the midterms” McConnel signed off on the document calling it “the best strategy to prevent political damage to our brand”
